Welcome to MedlyBlog.com. We are a blog and medical education project run by students and junior doctors in the UK. We publish a range of articles from conference reports to creative writing. If you’d like to get writing, we’ll get you started! We warmly welcome medical students, physician associates, doctors, nurses, ODPs and allied health professionals to contribute to our collection of posts.
Our mission is to support the education and development of the next generation of health professionals by providing writing experience, editorial support, and access to opportunities. Our conference reporter programme enables students and juniors to obtain press registration to attend local and national conferences. Our two-year pilot (Hull York Medical School Student Blog) demonstrated positive impact of students writing blog posts and attending conferences as reporters. This project won the JASME Student Innovation Prize 2018.
